Melbourne, Victoria, July 18, 2012: Preparations are well under way for the 2012 Muelboy Cup. The event is held at the pristine Barwon Heads GC on Friday the 20th of July.
The first group is scheduled to tee offat 10:06am with subsequent groups following at 10:14am, and 10:22am.
The 2011 winner Troy Legudi is keen to retain the winner’s jacket, which he resoundingly won in 2011. An invitation only event, Troy will have to withstand spirited challenges from a strong core of players each out to attain one of golfs ultimate accolades and titles.
An 18-hole stroke event played off the Championship tees; The Muelboy Cup is a true test of golf played on a challenging links, especially if the Bass Straight winds prevail.
